Tomorrow I will use this song for waking up!
Because this carries such a positive mood and happy feeling with it. I love the sax progressions...did you play that?
Ok now to the bad things. Hmm the problem is they aren't really existing. Maybe the hihat could be more quiet, but this is a detail.

Nope, I didn't play the sax, that's synthesized. When I get back to where my sax is, I'm thinking of replacing it with live sax. :D

This is a nice work here. Sadly the hole piece stops before I was catched completely, you should make it longer. I like the short string sample with the delay on it. Yeah I love such details^^ Dude this could be great, just needed two minutes more!

good overall

I think the monotone melody fits well in the topic of the song because the subway definatly is a very boring place. I missed a variation in the background sounds. You could've used more samples. People talking, stopping trains or opening doors for example.
The drums fit very good, I like them and the synth tone has a a good EQ.

good overall, but a little more emotion and detail would be great.

Yeah ok, I must say I love this one. It carries a heavy feeling with it. I like the slow building-up and the drum sound. It's not full score because of the wierd tone appearing at 4:23, 4:40 and 4:57. That tone kinda destroys the strong vibe of the song. if you could cut that out...^^
anyway good job!

i know what you mean. i've had this song playing at a low level, at the opposite side of my house, and i can hear that. i'll mess around with it, see if i can make it less obtrusive.

[MH16: A New Era]

nice one

yeah I do like it. kinda had this medieval feel to it. the building up until the percussion is well done and I like that it is fading out until the end.
anyway it seemed like this is just a piece out of a longer greater song. maybe you get other cool ideas in the same tone character and could add them to it?
I'm working up to 4 days on my pieces cause it is impossible to write enough fitting melodies for a longer song on one day.

don't upload a short one because you're running out of ideas. take yourself the time and let a piece be until the next day - you'll see that sometimes this is better ;)

well done indeed

I already posted on the one with lyrics, but I have to say something to this one, too. ;P I really like how the arrangement builds up. Nice use of the violin here. It's all quite simple 4/4 rythm but it is used very well. The drums are defanetly one of your strenghts I like them a lot.
I gave you full score on this because of the big improvements you make.

Maybe you can try to play around with major-minor changes on your next. It brings the hole thing to a higher standart, trust me. experiment with different kadences. try something in d minor maybe and change smoothly to f major. music is offering endless choices to you! ;)

I love the strings!

bad things first: the singing could be improved a lot it sounds a bit like it was sung through the nose! and get rid of that sniff please!!

ok but I love the music in the background. the strings are lovely and the delay on the piano sounds great. I would appreciate it if you tell me when you do another piece in this style - just intrumental.
Yeah and I must say that your skills getting better over time. I hope you'll make more music in this length or even longer, because your shorter ones are always missing something.

not that good

I usally rate on the music quality. Ok, it might be funny and all, but I just can't understand it scored so high. There are people working their ass of for a piece of music and got zero bombed and you just made it to the featured music list with this simple-ass-hell-song -.-

yeah the singing reminds me a bit at the older iron maiden stuff. really great job done on the guitar here, too. the *soft break* has a really good feeling and the licks are well played as well as the solo. I like the groove of the hole song! only one thing: the bass guitar could be played a bit cleaner.
keep it up man.
